We have ongoing relationships with hundreds of asset managers, asset owners, and asset servicers. Cutter currently has offices in Boston, London, and Sydney; we are growing!

We are looking for Senior Client Reporting Implementation candidates who will work with us in a project contract capacity and or full time. We are looking for people who are passionate about our industry and want to help consulting teams deliver engagements globally. As a Senior Client Reporting Implementation specialist, you will have three years or more of experience within an asset manager or asset owner. With that knowledge and experience, you will provide subject matter expertise on consulting engagements in client reporting software implementation.

You will work on a project team to implement a vendor-client reporting solution based on the client’s specifications. This will include structuring report-ready data, configuring report templates and components, creating data objects, and applying branding. The individual should also recommend adopting best practices and alternative solutions when appropriate. Having some project management and business analysis skills will be required, along with some technical expertise (ex. SQL, python, VBA, java). The technical expertise will depend on the solution being implemented, but it might also be sourced from another resource.

You can live anywhere in the US as most of the work will be remote.

Qualifications

You will have three years or more experience in client reporting implementation within investment management. Prior consulting experience is preferred. Ideally you will have been a business analyst or a team member on a client reporting implementation team within the investment management industry:

You will have the following skills:

• Project management and business analysis.
• Hands-on implementation experience with one of the following applications; FactSet Vermillion Reporting Solutions (VRS), Assette, SimCorp Client Communications (Coric), Vision FI, Kurtosys
• Implementation experience should include gathering reporting requirements, creating project artifacts and specifications, structuring report-ready data, configuring report templates and components, creating data objects, and applying branding
• Have strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Experienced with requirements analysis and process improvement.
• Able to read an audience and diagnose a situation.
• Have a structured, disciplined approach to work and time management, with attention to detail.
• Be able to create high-quality client deliverables using MS Office Suite

Responsibilities

You will be responsible for the following:

• Successfully complete client projects by meeting client goals, timelines, and budget requirements.
• Assist with the collection and documentation of business requirements, including the data, component, and template specifications.
• Configure the vendor system based on the approved specifications. This will include such things as:
• Setting up the application for use.
• Transforming report-ready data to be used within the application.
• Structuring qualitative data for optimal use and maintenance within the application.
• Designing reporting objects and templates
• Developing custom functionality, if applicable.
• Creating workflows to meet the client’s needs.
• Configuring translations, and other client-specific requirements.
• Complete unit testing prior to user acceptance testing (UAT).
• Assist the client with UAT. Aid with go-live and BCP testing efforts as requested.
• Advise client on the adherence to industry best practices.
• Provide appropriate feedback to the vendor regarding application issues or areas of concern.
• Provide system, industry, and best practice expertise.
• Assist with the client knowledge transfer, including the preparation of documentation.
• Maintain current application and industry knowledge.
