Rockland, MA – November 16, 2023 – Cutter Associates, a leading provider of research and consultancy services for asset managers, asset owners, public funds, and other investment companies around the world, recently concluded its Cutter Connect 2023 research member meeting series with events held in Sydney, London, and San Diego.
Cutter serves a global base of research members made up of operations, technology, and other professionals from the investment management industry. Members come together in-person annually to hear the latest research from Cutter analysts, network with peers, and discuss top-of-mind industry challenges. This year’s events included sessions on data analytics, derivatives and collateral management, firm culture in a hybrid world, alternative investments, research management systems, ESG practices, and more. In Sydney and San Diego, public funds professionals and CTOs attended exclusive roundtables to discuss their unique issues.

Topics of interest vary somewhat in each geography, depending on the size and maturity of the market. There is a strong interest in ESG practices in APAC and EMEA right now. Data and data analytics is a pressing issue around the world as firms struggle with organizational structure, data architecture, and the various systems and tools to support them.
